It depends where you are traveling. If you are leaving from the US to other country you still need your passport and the only way to get a replacement in the next 2 days go to your local passport agencies with your documents.

It depends where you are from and where you are traveling to. But if you are from the US and u are planning to travel out of the US there is no chance you will be able to go.

As this is in the UK section I assume you cannot find your UK passport.  

If that is so then no.  But check with the passport office.

It depends.

If you're flying within the UK (Glasgow to Manchester) so to speak, you can fly on a UK driving liscence.

If your flying abroad, then no. You cannot fly without a passport.

Depends.  Get in touch with the carrier  (airline etc) with whom your flying with to notify them and ask for assistance as they wont let you fly without it if the country you are going to has strict rules on documentation (airlines get a hefty fine).  Some places allow just an identity card etc but phone them up to ask anyway.

MC  has the correct answer if you are flying out of the US. If you are driving to Mexico or Canada , you only need your birth certificate (original with the seal) no copy  and a Picture ID

Get yourself down to your nearest post office right away with the fee for a new passport, get a form and get the application in today. You might still be able to get your new passport before you go if you hustle.

You need to get a replacement and the only way to do it is by waiting at your local passport office. Check out their website or ask at the post office. ASAP.
