  1. The answer is - it depends!  Do you have any remaining cats in the household?  If so, they have been exposed, and you should not bring in any new cats.  If you are currently catless, then generally it's recommended that you wait a couple of months before introducing a new cat, as this way you can be sure that the virus is dead.  It isn't believed to be a long-lived virus outside the body, but it's best to be careful so as not to infect a new cat coming in to the house.

  2. well what do u mean as far as precautions like if your ready or if your sad or as far as sicknesses this is a very broad question

  3. Just be sure to clean your house and everything of all traces of the dearly departed. This is not a spiritual cleansing, it is purely hygienic to make sure all traces of the bug are gone.

  4. Wow!  I am so sorry for your loss.  Well, I just lost a cat two weeks ago, and in a month I am getting another cat.  I am assuming that your two cats didn't have the vaccine.

As far as precautions go, get their vaccines... Call the vets in the area, to see what is the cheapest.  You'd be surprised on how expensive some places are.  If you have transportation, it wouldn't hurt to call vets within 30-40 minutes of your place.

I did that and the price dropped by about $300!!

  6. You don't have to wait, you must buy a new cat because if you try to have a cat in your life you can't live without them.

Second, you must think why the two cats being lost and avoid that.
