  1. Bio-oil worked wonders for mine.  Now you can only see them when I self tan (lol) or go in a swimming pool (no idea why) - otherwise you'd never even know they are there and I don't get nosy people saying in disgust..."oh my god...what happened to your arm?"

    Good luck xx

  2. BioOil is supposed to work really well. For awhile we couldnt even get it in Canada. But you can buy it at Wal-Mart and its about $10.

  3. Anything with Vitamin E.  Not as hard to find as it might sound.  Vitamin E is in a lot of moisturizers, hand lotions, body washes, tons of stuff.  Just look at the label.  Best to get something that says "With vitamin E" on the front.  Cocoa butter is also good for scars.  You can buy creams that are specifically made to help fade scars too.  Most claim to improve scars in 8 weeks or less.  Maderma sounds like a good product to use, a little expensive but probably worth it.  I think a tube of it is around $20...at least it was at the walgreens I went to.

  4. Try getting this medication for scars its called Kelo_cote you may have to order it online or get from a doctor it isn't sold at stores! My son has scars from a dog attacking him a few yrs ago and it has really helped. Good luck! I hope it works for you! You also my want to go to a therapist to help your thoughts and feelings ok!

  5. Unfortunately I know where you're coming from. I used to harm myself too. Currently I've been using ScarZone which is over the counter but you have to use it religiously.  For the deeper and more ugly looking scars I recommend seeing a dermatologist. Good Luck and congratulations on making the right choice!

  6. Vitamin E works wonders for scars....that's the age-old tradition haha. Or a scar diminishing cream. Aaand, I'd like to just say good for you for moving/separating yourself from something that has harmed you in the past. And even though physically they might be there, there is nothing stronger than your mind...and vitamin E :) Good luck
