  1. donot give them leaves.....

  2. what a type of human you are you want some thing to maintain which doesnt want to be yours, two died you are still asking for tips leave them nor god will never forgive you

  3. let them be free

  4. If they are caged....free them....you have no right whatsoever to confine them for your pleasure and fun.

  5. feed them raala of groundnut, spinach leaves & samaar. increase the size of cage. ask the person from whom u bought what to feed. i also have love birds but only 1 died in 1.6 yrs.

  6. they don't eat leaves! they eat bird feed you can use the kinds for parakeets i believe. no bird on the planet eats leaves.

  7. give them natural grass.....natural vitamins and minerals  .....!!!

  8. Don't free the birds--I wish people would stop suggesting that. Birds are like people in that they aren't born knowing how to survive on their own, they have to learn it, and usually their parents teach them. Birds that have been raised in captivity do not know how to survive in the wild, and virtually always die of hunger, cold, etc. because they don't know what to do once they're free: they don't know how to *be* free. All you'd be doing by letting them go is sentencing them to death. Do the responsible thing and keep them safe, indoors, and if for some reason you can't care for them anymore, give them away to someone who can.

Try not to feed your birds plants, a lot of plants are toxic to birds and unfortunately this may be why two of your birds died. Be cautious! You can try feeding them washed-off broccoli, carrot, or plain (cooked) white rice, but they really do need a diet that contains pellets, at least, in order to be healthy. You should be able to find bird seed mixtures for pet birds at your local grocery store, or (of course) at any pet store. Try to find a brand that contains the least millet (the small, round, light yellowish seeds), and look for mixtures that contain pellets--pellets look like little tiny bits of pet kibble or dry cereal, and are dyed in different colors like blues, greens, reds, etc. There are very good for birds and a diet that includes pellets is far better for the birds than a diet of nothing but seeds.

The eggs your birds do lay probably aren't hatching because they aren't fertile--female birds lay infertile eggs every so often, just like how a cat or dog comes into heat. It's a natural part of their "cycle". But please don't try to breed your birds, at least until you've mastered basic lovebird care. If you don't know how to take care of adult lovebirds yet, how much better do you think you'll be able to handle caring for fragile babies?

  9. they will eat bird food such as cockatiel food. please stop giving them leaves!!!

  10. Free them, that is the best option.

  11. I sure hope you're feeding something in addition to ragi and coriander. Lovebirds need a birdseeed mix, which you can buy at any pet store. They also like fruits and vegetables. A varied diet is important to make sure they're getting enough vitamins and minerals. Your birds might have died from nutritional deficiencies. I wouldn't use the terramycin without asking a vet.

edit: Ignore the idiots who say to release them. Unless you live in their native habitat (Africa), lovebirds will just die if set free.
