My group was listed for all ages, and indiscrimately, ahoo changed it to a unlisted adult group. I have no adult material and no spam. Yahoo has not answered and won't change it. Isn't this prejudiicial?

  1. this happens for two causes

    1) a hyper active bot and at a time many groups got hit by the bot

    2) a complaint- if it was a complaint and yahoo seen adult content by their standards, it wont be switched out of adult.

you have to be sure there is no adult anything in links, files or photos-

generally during the bot attack, people sent in the below form, included the name and URL of the group as well as the category it should be in- Yahoo was resetting the category within 24 hrs at that time.

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

it is generally not prejudicial, Yahoo has been hit with lawsuits of under-age kids so they are overly protective and by all rights, they should be.
