I just did a VirusScan, and it showed me that I have a Trojan (detected as New Malware.bj). The name is C:\WINDOWS\system32\WdquiXO0x.exe I tried to search that on Google but couldn't find anything, and my VirusScan didn't delete it. What can I do?

  1. Try this indepth removal guide.  It will help you remove any traces of malware on the system.  You might only need to go through the first few programs though if you're only picking up a single trojan.  Never hurts to put effort in though to keep your system safe:

  2. download http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix... combofix.boot in safe mode scan and u may get problem solved

  3. I've found Spyware Doctor to be excellent at removing malware infections.

Remember the nasty MalwareAlarm program that kept infecting everyone's system?  SpywareDoctor detected and removed it when other well-known programs like Norton and McAfee didn't even recognize it.

  4. Go to:

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/product...

Download Microsoft Defender.  Once installed, run this.  It should detect anything on your system and remove it successfully.  You may need to run it more than once to get all files off.  Really, running it once should do, but when I ended up with a virus a friend turned me on to this and after using it my system returned to normal.  It found the same file like 3 times and removed it each time.  After that, all was normal.  I was really disappointed with my anti-virus software.  Now I run Defender regularly and my computer stays happy.
