Criscito denied the reports linking him with a move away from the Russian Premier League and predicted a strong comeback in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Zenit St. Petersburg defender, Domenico Criscito, has admitted that he has become a mature professional since moving to the Russian Premier League club from Italian outfit, Genoa, last year.
The left-back believes that his new surroundings have given him a whole new experience. However, the Italian stopper added that the move has not affected his character.

Criscito admitted that the Meshki are on the brink of retaining the league title this season and expressed his desire to win the UEFA Champions League with the Russian outfit in the near future.
“We are focused on winning the championship of Russia and I am glad that the goal is very close. I hope Zenit is getting better and I think we will reach the later stages of the Champions League next season.” Criscito said.
Speaking on Rubin Kazan’s Salvatore Bocchetti, who lives in Kazan, Criscito revealed that he is good friends with the Italian defender and told that they constantly keep in touch in Russia.
