I have minolta DiMage camera

I have minolta DiMage camera and it will not reconize fully charged batteries, it show battery as being 1/2 full and I put new batteries and it still won't reconize. I have cleaned the battery posts, but still nothing. Can you help or have any suggestions. I would appreciate it.Thank you.
