  1. yes be carefull they dont fight tho its not likely to happen

  2. I dont believe so, I had the same mix in my tank and they never mated,

Although, I once had a black mollie mate with a white molie and they had white baby mollies with black dots.....Honest story! It was really cool!

  3. they are different species of fish but can crossbreed apparently, although the young are usually very weak and don't survive (according to wikipedia)

swords and platies are close enough to produce viable young though

  4. nope.

  5. NO  I am surprised that your mollys are not nipping at the guppies and tearing their fins apart.

  6. I'm not completely sure, but I would say yes. We had a male guppy male platys pregnant and had some weird looking fish. Since mollies are livebears just like platies and mollies I would have to say yes. So be careful, you're going to end up with a lot of babies!

  7. Maybe?I went to my local pet store and bought some fancy guppies. She told me i could put mollies, platies, and fancy guppies and they would all bredd. Although she may have not know anything at all. Because she let me buy puffer, golfish, and gourami and told me they could all be together, so that tells you what she knew!

  8. lol no. they're completely different species of fish.

  9. no

  10. what the heck no

  12. No they can not.
