Is there a website or something for this? I have no idea what kind of money or where it came from. It is a paper, shorter than a dollar but maybe a bit wider and it has a 10 on it and a bunch of letters and symbols and a guy and mountains in the background.

  1. There isn't a lot to go on here. Any text on the banknote you can provide would be helpful.

Added Later: Your banknote is from Kyrgystan. It is the 10 Som note issued in 1994. Face value is about 10 cents US. Collector value of the note is $2 in lightly circulated condition and $10 in uncirculated condition.

Added Later Still: It could also be the 1997 issue. I have provided links to eBay auctions below that include photos of tthe two different types.
