I think you are not clear about Real, Complex and Mixed numbers

Real Numbers which does not cotain iota(i)

Example: 2, -3, 5, 10 etc are real numbers

Complex Numbers: 2i, -4i, 7i are complex numbers which cointains iota where i=square root of -1

Mixed Numbers: Which cointains real as well as imaginary numbers

For Example: 3+4i, -7-8i, 9-7i etc
