For a long time (years), I have had these muscle spasms. Like anywhere on my body something will just spasm. For example my foot will just move up and down, and I can't control this. It is really weird. Is this normal or is there something wrong?

  1. They are a usual sign that you need more electrolytes and magnesium. Try taking a multivitamin daily that has potassium and magnesium in it and see if that doesn't help with your spasms. You can also get magnesium and potassium from foods sources like spinach, bananas, halibut, salmon and baked potatoes.

  2. I would tell your doctor.  There could be many reasons.  Eat more potassium like banana's and see your doctor.

    Good luck!

  3. Go in for a blood test.By that your doctor can find what is deficient in your body. Many times, it is the magnesium that is deficient.
