Question:

I have my driving test on wednesday... i have already failed 2 tests due to my nerves.......?

my instructor says im capable of passing if i can just get a hold of nerves.....im not nervous when im on lessons just on my test......can anyone reccomend anything to calm my nerves...iv tried kalms and bachs rescue remedy but to no avail....PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

  1. Just relax and don't think about failing. Concentrate on what you need to know and passing. Relax is the key to passing.

  2. believe in yourself. just imagine nobody is looking and assessing at you. there are a lot of others just like you and if they can do so can you. remember, everybody is equally born.

  3. Just relax. Take a deep breath before hand.

      What I always used to think about was the fact that there are a ton of loser dumb people that are on the road, and if they can drive - SO CAN YOU!

Maybe a glass of warm milk before you go.  This has been known to calm people down before bed and it will be during the day and I don't think you'll be having any problems falling asleep at the wheel.  Also Turkey is a natural calming food.  It releases endorphins in your brain that naturally calm you.  Ever wonder why everyone is soo tired after a thanksgiving meal..........

  5. Have a positive driver take you out and get more experience to boost your confidence. Drive through the neighbors used on the test. Use visualization to convince yourself that you can do this...picking a theme song to calm you and motivate yourself and stay calm might help too....sounds like your over thinking the test.

  6. i know this is way before your time but watch an episode of the Brady Bunch  where Greg and Marcia competed to see who was the better driver--  when she had her test, she pictured the instructor in his underwear--  this may or may not work for you--  if your a guy and the instructor is female, you may actually get into an accident
