I have my first baby coming in February and me and the mother aint together and sh is already telling me......

she is already telling me when and how much i can see the baby what can i do??and what legal rights do i have on seeing the baby i live in the state of missouri ??? what rights do i have to my child??

Hello i say give it time , before you think of anything like that , Things change when a wee baby comes , so try not to worry to much i think it will be ok congratulations on becoming a father.

I'm guessing you aren't married (not making judgments, but that's important in terms of background and rights, etc.) so there are going to have to be some legal parameters set in place by courts. These will regard not only the fun parts (visitation, etc.) but also the responsibilty (support, etc.). Contact a family law attorney in your area (use the Yellow Pages if you must) to get the ball rolling. Unless you have something concrete that has been agreed upon my both parties and is enforced by the courts it's all just a verbal agreement that can be broken by either side which only leads to heartache for both of you as well as this baby that you guys are bringing into the world.

You have just as many rights as the mother does.Unless she files for full custody and wins. Just fight it no matter what. But not in front of the child. You two need to be friendly with each other in order for your child to be happy.

And don't ever talk bad about each other to your child. When you put their mother of father down it reflects on them because they are part of them.
