  1. Do your homework.Research the company beforehand so that you can showcase that knowledge during the interview. The internet is a great resource, you can google the company, check business journals for company information, like ranking, sales, mission statement. This will give you a background and later you will be able to ask informed question.

Know where you’re going. Make sure to find out where the office is and how to get there. There are several free sites devoted to directions, Mapquest, Google Maps and Yahoo maps. Know how long the trip will take. Take the name and phone number of the person you’ll be meeting with. Know what the parking situation is, adjust your time accordingly. Save yourself time and unnecessary stress by knowing these things before heading to the interview.

Dress the part.As an Employment Specialist I have experienced this first hand. Two job candidates, different skills, both had criminal background. One gentleman was applying for a warehouse position. He had a suit on. The employers response, “finally someone to interview. The other candidate, more qualified, he wouldn’t take out his facial piercing, no job. Interviews, but no jobs. Your clothing should be neat, pressed, and professional looking. As it can be difficult to know the culture of the office environment beforehand, err on the side of conservative. However, don’t be afraid to inject some personality into your look, and don’t neglect the details. Make sure to have a fresh haircut and clean, manicured nails.

Rehearse beforehand.Prior to your interview, prepare answers to common questions the interviewer is

  2. First of all, congratulations!

Given that it's a food service job, they'll ask you some questions about your ability to work under pressure, how you'll work with members of a team, and what kinds of hours you can work.

Beyond that, there are the standard interview questions like "what are your strengths?" "how would your friends/family/other describe you?". Make sure you have answers ready for all of these questions, or at least know how to answer them.

Additionally, they will ask you if you have any questions. Make sure you have something to ask- be it about the company directly (do some research to make sure you don't ask a very obvious question), or about the details of the job (read over those as well, just to be sure you know what you're getting yourself into!)

And lastly, dress the part. Actually, dress better than the part. Just because it's Taco Bell doesn't mean you shouldn't show them you're serious about getting a job. Wear slacks and a collared button down shirt, closed toed shoes, and groom yourself nicely. Appearance makes all the difference in the world, especially at the beginning.

    Best of luck!

  3. ok well, i'm only twelve but i do have a job (i'm a dance teacher) my aunty owns a studio and yeh

well because its a job in the food industry then go looking really clean

and i advise you not to wear just a jumper, jeans and rabens.

I would wear neat jeans with a longish classy top (more dressy than normal) and clean shoes (nice slip ons with buckly things)

and your hair out or maybe out and straightened or curled or up in a reallly neat pony and wear natuarl makeup with a little lipgloss

and they will ask you questions like

what exerience have you had in the food industrie?

(prepare professional answers and what 2 seconds before you answers the question)

    they may asl for markes???

    who knows

i'll be praying for you xx.

answer some of my questions please

    xx.
