I have my first track meet in two weeks?

If I got a 5:26 in the mile last week...what should i get in the mile two weeks from now...im a boy in 8th grade...also...i have meets every week after that for a month...what should i get in those meets?

  1. Just a bit less, no need to improve by a ridiculous amount


  2. you should see a steady increase in your time if you stay practicing.  i run track myself too and i just work at practice and see how my times change at meets.  once you get a few meets in, you will see how your times differ and then can calculate your future times from how much you improve...

    keep it up and i bet u can get at least 40 seconds off that time in a few weeks.
