  1. If you leave the U.S. without your green card, you are NOT going to get back in.  Also, as a permanent resident of the U.S., you are allowed to enter Mexico with a photo I.D. AND your green card, but without the green card you will be required to have a passport from your home country.  Only American citizens may enter Mexico with a birth certificate and photo I.D.  Since you are not an American citizen, Mexico is not going to let you in without a passport.  You need to get a replacement green card before you go anywhere outside the U.S.  You simply cannot go to Mexico in June...sorry, but that's the way it is.

IF you were to go to Mexico using your passport from your home country, you may also need a visa to enter Mexico...depends on what your nationality is. However,  leaving the U.S. without your green card to get you back in  would be very unwise.  The 1st site below clearly states you must present your permanent resident card to re-enter the U.S., and the 2nd site confirms this.

  2. No... you will need your Green card to re-enter to US.

  3. No problem going to Mexico.

Your problem is that you need your green card to return to the USA.

This is my help from Washington, D.C. United States of America.
