  1. Once you receive your license than you can drive without an adult.  Don't play dangerous.  Be safe and have a licensed driver with you at all times.    D

  2. You don't have to have an adult with you but you do have to have a licensed driver in the car with you at all times.

  3. if you only have a permit you must have a licensed driver with you at all times..

once you get your regular license you can drive at any time.

  4. didnt they go over that in drivers ed?  it is in your rules of the road book,  you are not ready to drive if you dont even know the driving laws in IL.  and you think you are able to drive in Chicago traffic?   let me know when and I will not drive in chicago at that time

  5. you need a liscense to drive by yourself

  6. No, see site below and read the 4th paragraph.

  7. seriously we already have enough bad drivers in IL we don't need you on the roads as well. As it seems you don't seem to know the laws of IL or Chicago stay off the roads and keep the rest of us licensed drivers safe.

  8. Why do you think you have a permit and not a real drivers license? Of course you can't drive without an adult. I believe the rule is the person has to be over 21 and have had their license for at least a year possibly more. Dont' drive withhout an adult, if you get caught you probably wont be driving until your at least 18 maybe 21

  9. For a permit, you have to have an adult with you. When you get your license, you can drive by yourself.
