......and before I got this plant for my 1988 house-warming party, my Philodendron selloum plant had to be 3 to 4 years more older in its {Plant-Birth.}

So in reality, my Philodendron Selloum is not 20 years old. It's more like 24 years old in plant life.

I'm shocked. I mean how many Decades do most Philodendron Selloum house plants live to really??

I'm 46 years old. Could my Philodendron Selloum maybe {out live me?}

I am being funny but yes, serious too : ) I've never had a house plant 24 long years old.

Any comments?

  1. I had a prayer plant for about 30 or so years.  I kept it in the same pot.

    It did finally die.  I guess you could say it didn't have a prayer!  :p  ha ha

    If your plant is flourishing you have no need to re-pot it.

  2. WOW!!! I'd be afraid to touch it! Sounds like it's doing good.  Do you have pictures of this amazing plant?  I'd love to see that!!

    Maybe you could "will" it to a plant lover in the future if it does outlive you. Or a museum? lol
