  1. WHOEA! i dint know monkeys came from an egg! and dint know they could swim either!

  2. They aren't even real. . .

    That's why they haven't hatched.

  3. try bananas or nuts

  4. If they haven't hatched they won't need feeding, your just cloging up the water with un eaten food. try changing out half the water and not adding anymore food till they have hatched.

  5. DONT poor them out, they're still in there. if you have more wter purifier put it in and ways 3 or 4 days..

  6. look very carefully, when my son had them we didnt notice at first as they were so tiny.

  7. My guess is that your eggs were duds. Where did you get them. Did you follow the directions? Why are you adding food when they didn't hatch? There should be nothing to feed.

Sea monkeys hatch almost instantly and by four weeks old are most certainly large enough to see.

They are just brine shrimp or artemias.

  8. don't feed them untill they have hartched.

I dont know what to suggest, mine allways hatch straight away.  You could just keep waiting.  Is your eye sight good?  Would you notice if they hatched?  Though if they had hatched they would have groewn to visible by now.

Either start from scratch with new water eggs and everything, and read the instructions really well.  OR just leave the whole thing untill all of the water evaporates and then refill it and wait.

  9. If they really haven't hatched (look closely), the eggs were probably old when bought.  Sea monkeys are just brine shrimp, and you can buy brine shrimp eggs at most pet shops that sell fish supplies.  I would dump out the current batch, and start again.  They should hatch very quickly.

  10. You should look very carefully to try and spot little twitching white specks - these are your baby sea monkeys. If you cannot see any then do not throw the water out as there will definitly be eggs in there and you would have wasted a whole batch.

Firstly ensure that you're not over feeding them as they will not grow. I feed mine every 5 days with the small scoop (as instructed). If the water in your tank is cloudy do not feed them until the water is clear. They may possibly be hatching but overfeeding them when they are so small may be causing them to die. Some eggs can remain in suspended animation for a while. Also they are born with about 3days worth of food already in them so you do not need to feed them straight away. Remember to aerate the tank every 3 days or so to provide a good supply of oxygen.

The Plasma III is a good idea as i have previously used this and i had noticed my sea monkeys were hatching. On your first use of plasma you need to add three large scoops and from then on one large scoop once every 2 weeks. I do believe that the plasma is not a replacement for the growth food so you use it in conjunction with your growth food. You could also buy another set of eggs and add those in also.

I added a second batch of eggs whilst using the plasma every 2 weeks along with growth food every 5 days and at the moment have about 30 adult seamonkeys in my tank and loads of babies. Hope this helps x

  11. Did you add them? That's seems strange because they hatch instantly! As soon as you put the eggs in, you should have seen little specks swimming around. They should be big by now!! I would suggest dumping out the water and getting another package. Make sure you use distilled water, tap water and bottled water can kill them. Good luck!
