I have named my new born male baby as KASHISH (pronounced as Kaashish) NAIR.

Question

The name has 2 meanings attraction / Lord Shiva. Some of my friends were saying that it is a feminine name. But i do not agree with that because the one meaning of the word is applicable to male and the other is applicable to both genders.

Any comments on this?

The meaning is Kashi's Iswar ie Kashi Vishwanath. It is a male name. But since it is cute, people tend to attach it with female.
