I have never been on a cruise?

Question

I would love to go on a cruise to Baja Mexico. Any suggestions on the best cruise line, prices, the best time of the year to go ?

I live in Las Vegas, NV so I would drive to L.A. and get on a ship from there.

Depends on when you want to go?

If you can wait till 2009 THEN DO because in 09 royal caribbeans mariner of the seas is coming to LA and is doing a 7 night mexican rivera cruise which starts at 719$CAD. Destinations are Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Mazatlan, Mexico; Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

IF you cant then i suggest a 4 or 3 night cruise on carnival cruise lines Carnival Paridise because it just got renovated and is much newer than RCL's monarch of the seas. these cruises go to ensenda and sometimes Catalina Island(4 night) and are really cheap at around $400CAD

I  personally like carnival but the cheapest time to go is in January and the weather is in the 70's . there isn't a bunch of kids that time of year

Carnival I thought was pretty fun

and all I know is that I would try to avoid any trip during April as it is Spring Break month, and the ship will be packed and full

oh yeah, and obviously-you don't want to go during hurricane season...

my only recommendation is that you not go to the Bahamas
