some hardware stores have a cylinder exchage plan.you buy the first one and return it when empty and pay for the refill only

You can buy a new one at a propane service. Or a lot of places let you exchange an empty one for a filled one. or you can have the original one refilled.good luck.

I know my local walmart sells them.  They are usually cheaper at walmart.  I am pretty sure they have the exchange plan also.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot you will save a little money then when it runs empty go get it filled instead of exchanged you will save even more money.

buy from an approve dealer ---some types of tanks are illegal to refill  this way you will save money and be safe

There are many places that sell empty ones that you can get filled at a gas station. Lowes and Home Depot. They also have tank exchange programs where you can buy a pre-filled tank, and when it is empty you can exchange it for a full one for a small price, usually under $20.00.
