  1. Well, you have to set the spam filter to on, and then...unfortunately, you have to review all the email that goes into the spam file and see if you want to let them in.  That's the process.  It's not the best way.  I find it odd how the Groups spam filter works, too.  For example...many times, members of the group get filtered out into the spam filter, and I can't figure out why that is.  It's a bother, for certain.  Good luck!

  2. Well, it's your first time, you just have to wait till you get better at it.  When you get better at it, it will be no problem.  It will be a breeze!  Trust me!  There's a first time for everything, ya know?

  3. Click management lower left column of your home page then click posting and archives  Tick your choices such as moderate posts  click save changes.

  4. 2 ways-

left tabs on homepage click management- under group settings click messages- 1st column Who can Post- check members- then 3rd column Moderation check either new members OR Unmoderated - click save changes-

    REMEMBER

this will only affect those who join after this setting change. members now prior to this remain on the previous setting that you had, lets say no moderation.

    ALSO

these members stay moderated until you individually reset each one and here's how (this is also how you'd moderate a member who needs it)

locate said member is members list- click edit membership below their ID- Posting Messages: Override: This member's posts are always moderated (Edit) <-- click the edit

    next page choose either

    * Messages posted by this member are not moderated.

    * Messages posted by this member are moderated.

    click save changes

  5. You can't, but you can flag them and yahoo will delet them.

  6. Praise the lord each and every morning.

  7. in any group in the setting..you can click it on or off in the group..but if spam is posted in the group by anyone..you have the group setup as every one is on moderation so when they join they can't spamm the group and another good idea is make the group setting for pending that all msg are on pending and doesn't get posted until you look at it to see if it is safe. I have all my groups setup like and i can even edit a member post..before it hit the group..
