I have never had any guitar tuition....pls help?

I would like to learn some basics online and for free. i have an acoustic guitar...and i know music notes and how to read them as i have ben playing piano and violon for 5-6 years but have no idea of chordsetc... i can play only single notes as if i was reading from a violin stave...

can someone suggest links please?thanks

  1. The quickest place is musictheory.net and click on lessons, then go through the brief lessons on chord structure.  There are great drills on that site as well, and they're free.
