I have never in my life, played volleyball before and I'm really scared because I'm joining the team.?

I'm joining my high schools volleyball team but I've nver played it in my life and have absolutely no experience with this sport what should I do?

if your school offers any extra practices or anything go to those because the coaches like to see players being proactive

I would probably get some books out of the libary and do some reading so u can at least learn the basics. Also u could go to anoter girl on the team ...maybe an older girl or a friend or anybody that knows v-ball. Then if they are willing they could help teach u everything u want to kow.

you will do absolutely fine if you have a great attitude towards the coaches and trying your hardest.. one main pointer is to NEVER say i cant... bc that wont get you anywhere* good luck!

just go have fun. 2 me its super ez. i have only played like 4 or 5 times.and i liked it. u will do fine. if u realy wanna practice. go play with some friends or just practice with ur family or somthin.

i know how u feel just try practicing volleyball with freinds you will get use to it once u start practicing     and also volleyball was my favorite sport  mynumber was #17

i've been playing volleyball since i was in 7th grade and have ALOT of experience. i think you should have confidence and go all out. just listen to what the coaches tell you and do your best with everything you do. oh and practice, practice, practice. practice makes perfect. GOOD LUCK!!!
