I have never used powerpoint?

i have to do a autobiography powerpoint presentation can anybody help me in getting started with at least the first two slides please!!

Powerpoint is very much like using tables in Word.

Open Powerpoint > click in the first slide in the left panel.

Now in the big right panel click inside one of the tables >

begin to type your information, or

above click toolbar button INSERT and browse to insert a photo, or a .gif.  

Yeah, you can insert all kinds of moving gifs, sound, lots of things.

To get another slide just click INSERT again, and  select

New Slide.

Just as in Word when you want to move or delete a table RIGHT click and Delete; or to move it over hover your cursor over the top middle until you see the cross, grab it and move the table.  You can adjust the size of the table with the cursor as well.

Querry the Office Assistand for instructions on how to TIME the slides progress, like every 10 seconds for it to automatically move to the next slide.

Also querry about adding backgrounds, etc.

Once you get started, it's a ton of fun.
