  1. There has to be an output connector on your TV. I own a piece of c**p $300 TV and it has an output connector. It could be labeled SPDIF, coax, digital, output, sound out, or just about anything else some marketing wonk can come up with. But it's there. Find it and use it.


  2. Do you have any other equipment for such as VCR, DVD recorder, cable or satellite box that you can hook up to your home theater system? Any one of these will help get your TV sound through your system. You don't necessarily have to hook up your TV for sound.
