    You should be in a relationship when you want to be in one, not when you feel like you "should" be in one.

    Anyone who disagrees has something wrong with them.

    I know several people who waited til their 20's to start dating. They are now in healthy relationships. There's nothing at all wrong with waiting to start dating, and it can be smart in some cases. I've chosen not to start, and I'm 15, and male (due to certain events in my life that would complicate it)!

    Take all the time you need.

Nope!  I'm 21 and I'm not dating anyone.  No need to rush things.  I've dated a handful of guys but have always been really busy with school and work.  Focus on yourself.  You have so much time to date and learn and grow.  If you find someone you like, give it a chance, but don't treat it like it will be your only relationship.  You will have, and will need, lots of practice being in relationships before you start to settle on the right guy.

  18. Having a boy/girl friend at this age isn't someone that you would truely live on life with. I'm currently 17 and I always think to myself will my next girlfriend be the one that I would marry and have kids with? If by any chance you do want a boyfriend wait for the right one. It doesn't hurt to wait for that perfect/special someone, instead of going around hunting for a boyfriend. You don't find true love if thats what your looking for, you find eachother.
