I have no clue!!!! please help me!!!?

ok so i was being stupid and i started peeling paint off the walls in my bedroom. it was dark so i didnt realize that i was peeling down to the dry wall. actually it was past the protectant layer on the dry wall... so now my room looks like cardboard! my mom doesnt know what to do and neither does anyone else we've talked to. we tried mudding the wall then sanding it but that didnt work. we also thought of putting that indented striped board on it but thats a little pricey and it wouldnt cover all of it. so pretty much any suggestions would help (except mean ones)

Float some Drywall tape on the affected areas. This should cover problem areas, and then lightly mudd and sand.

I cant figure ouy why the mud wouldnt work.Did tou mud past the damaged area?You have to go past it and them feather it in. Good luck

Try using Dependable,  it is a skim coat that you mix with water or their specific mixing solution.  It is easier to sand if you use the later.  Get it as smooth as you can then mud over it and sand that.

Easy, hire a Taper-he'll retexture the room but he may have to do several skim coats,which can be messy. It'll cost several hundred dollars. If you try it yourself it will look that way for years to come.
