I have no colour TV picture from dvd player to TV using component output/input?

Question

using the component in/out dvd to tv, sound ok picture ok but no colour, the tv is Toshiba 36" crt, the dvd is Panasonic, are they incompatible?

on a scart or s video lead? make sure you have the correct settings on th tv

Go into your settings on your DVD player. There should be a setting in there you need to change. Check the book. I cant remeber what it was. Should be in video menu.

Make sure the 21 pin scart box is pushed all the way in

Sounds like a faulty SCART lead.  Try another one and see if there's a difference.
