I have no friends.. will I be a loser if I have a wedding with no bridesmaids/maid of honor?

The main thing keeping me from having a wedding where I invite the whole family is that I have no friends. Do people ever have weddings with no bridesmaids?

the only reason u need bridesmaids is to make u feel good!! if u dont have bridesmades it doesnt matter. all that matters is that you feel happy and love the guy. you shouldn't care what people think of your wedding since it is your special day! Congratulations!

Look. Are you happy with your husband? If you are, don't worry about it.

If you're happy or content, thank God for it and go on and live your life.

On the other hand, are you marrying someone because you need a friend and grabbed the first person who came along who liked you?

Yeah, people do it. If you are really worries though you can pick your fav cousin or your sister to be the maid of honor. It doesn't have to be friends in it. And you don't need brides maids,or a maid of honor, but It is just nice to hve a girl/woman to share the experiece with. Good Luck.

Yeah all the time. But if you are really worried about it, you can always ask a sister or a cousin. But don't stress over the small stuff. You don't NEED bridesmaids.

That's my plan.  The whole wedding thing is about you and your partner anyway, no need to stress over having a bridal party.

i will be your bridesmaid if you want (but I'm a 6 foot tall guy with a bit of stubble, so maybe i wont be so pretty, but i would still be your bridesmaid :) )

no of course you wouldn't be...isn't Translated in Love cute?!,,,ok so first question 1st...how come you don't have friends?...like one person asked and which makes me ask too....well why not and i hope your man isn't so controlling he doesn't allow it!...do you have family at all...i hope you or he haven't alienated them...if you or he has then that's a warning sign to wait it out to see if this guy is right for you and that you are not desperate to "have someone"..man this makes me wonder whats up...have your mother or someone...its nice to have even a "witness" stand in..go simple then if it makes you feel weird...i really don;t see many people doing no bridesmaids...you know whats worse than none though?! the people who turn it into a circus and have like 9 each!...like ok if you had 9 sisters that would be a tough decision but please 9 friends?! its called weeding them out!  I hope you have a great day..have a nice wedding its such a great day!
