  1. Ranch Dip

    16 oz container sour cream

    1 packet ranch dressing mix

    1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    1/2 cup real bacon bits

    Mix together. Refrigerate for 1 hour so flavors blend.  Serve with tortilla chips and potato chips.

    Onion Dip

    1 16 oz container sour cream

    1 packet Lipton Onion Soup mix

    Mix together.  Refrigerate for 1 hour so flavors blend.  Serve with vegetables and potato chips.

    Turkey, white beans, onions and green chilies spiced with Mexican seasonings



      



      

    Prep: 30 minutes

    Cook: 2+ hours

    Ready In: Less than 2 1/2 hours

    Ingredients  

      

    1     pound      dried small white beans

    3     tablespoon      olive oil

    1     cup   chopped   onion

    3     cloves   minced   garlic

    2     cans   undrained, chopped   green chilies

    1     tablespoon   dried   oregano leaves

    1     tablespoon   ground   cumin

    1     teaspoon   ground   cinnamon

            dash ground   red pepper

    9     cups      Butterball® Chicken Broth

    4     cups   chopped, cooked   Butterball® Turkey

      1/2   teaspoon      salt

      1/8   teaspoon   ground   black pepper

    3     cups   (12 ounces) shredded   Monterey Jack cheese



      

    Directions  

      

    1. Place beans in large saucepan or bowl. Cover with cold water. Let stand overnight. Drain and rinse beans.

    2. Heat oil in large saucepan on medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook and stir 7 minutes, or until onion is tender.

    3. Stir in chilies, cumin, oregano, cinnamon and red pepper. Cook 3 minutes more.

    4. Stir in beans and 8 cups of the chicken broth. Bring to boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low. Simmer covered 2 hours, or until beans are tender. (Note: If mixture becomes to dry, add additional chicken broth.)

    5. Stir in turkey, salt and pepper and 1-1/2 cups of the cheese. Cook until cheese is melted.

    6. Ladle chili into bowls. Top with remaining cheese.



      

    Suggestions  

      

    Serve with salsa, sour cream and cilantro, if desired.

    Makes:About 2 1/2 dozen cookies

      

    1 pouch Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix

    1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted

    1 egg

    1 to 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut

    1/2 cup butterscotch topping

    3/4 cup hot fudge topping

    1. Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, melted butter and egg until soft dough forms. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in coconut. On ungreased cookie sheets, place balls 2 inches apart.

    2. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are light golden brown and coconut starts to toast. Cool 3 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to waxed paper.

    3. Drizzle each warm cookie with butterscotch topping. In small microwavable bowl, microwave hot fudge topping uncovered on High 15 to 30 seconds or until spreadable. Carefully spread on top of each cookie. Serve warm or cool. Store loosely covered.
