I have no inspiration at the moment!?

I love writing stories and songs, and I love painting, but recently, whenever I've begun to try to do these things I have writer's block...or painter's block. I'd really like to get some inspiration, but my paintings turn out dull, my songs and stories stupid. How can I become inspired again?

1. sellect a topic

2. try picture urself in tht situation and make it creative

3. write the story or poem or painting

3. reseach on it

4. focus on EMOSIONS NOT ON THE EVENT ON SITUATION

5. now re-write the samethings but focus on the things mentionned above

6. show it to someone who noe's about this topic

7. edit the things tht r not riht

8. make  the final copy

Do you have a boyfriend or something like that? If you're currently in a realtionship with the opposite s*x, then you should ask him to be your muse.

Just incase you don't, Muses are mythical beings that inspire creativity. Artists, Writers, Songwriters, etc. occaisionally ask their significant other to be their muse.

I have one. When I was a senior, Carolyn was a junior and she was my muse. I wrote a film recently, and the leading feamle was based on her. The character of Allison had all of Carolyn's traits and their personalities were exactly the same. And I told Carolyn that I created a character from her.

A muse doesn't always have to be a significant other, but they can be anyone you want. Mostly cross-gendered partners are muses, but it can be anyone who'd you like it to be.

i'm in a band and whenever i need inspiration, i pick an emotion, listen to songs expressing that emotion, or see a picture expressing that emotion, and i've even gotten to the point where i need to get really angry at myself, or make myself cry. sometimes, if that doesn't work, i just doodle, write 3-4 lines of random poetry, etc. in a notebook i keep for when i'm out of ideas.
