The right-handed opening batsman made his way to international cricket in 2003, when he was drafted in the Pakistan team for the Sharjah Cup. The stylish batsman from Sargodha failed to find a permanent spot in the national team for almost seven years before
making one of his many comebacks during Pakistan’s tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 in 2010.
Since then, the 31-year-old cricketer never looked back and has become an integral part of Pakistan team in all the three formats of the game. Hafeez has played a massive role in Pakistan’s success since the last 18 months with both bat and ball.

Hafeez is in his 30s and there are some question marks over his future but the right-handed batsman is still one of the fittest guys in the Pakistan team and wants to prolong his career as long as he can maintain the level of fitness required at the international

Pakistan’s T20 skipper, “I don't want to make a precise statement here but I can tell you I will walk away when I'm no longer useful. I understand every player has to go one day, but I am currently enjoying playing cricket and have maintained a good fitness
level. I haven't given a thought to how long I will play but I will continue till my form and fitness favour me.”
Hafeez gave a controversial statement earlier this month that not playing Indian Premier League is a massive disadvantage for Pakistani players and still maintains that cricketers from all across the world enhance their skills in playing totally different
