for the resolve of the owners of the club, their star Montenegrin international would have gone on to a different club, with heavy speculation linking the player to a move to the Turin outfit, along with a number of Premier League outfit.
Vincenzo Montella had stressed on the importance of Stevan Jovetic at the club, and mentioned that the Viola superstar was an integral part of the plans he had to reform the club and make it a better unit. The former caretaker head coach of AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 has come
good to his promise and has guided the club to a good finish with the winter break coming close.
Stevan Jovetic seems to be content with the progress of the club, and has reiterated that he has not thought about leaving the Turin outfit, but did end up stating that anything was possible at the club. While commenting on his impressions of the newly assembled
team and their ambitions, Jo Jo went on to state that they would be targeting the premier European competition in Champions League, and reiterated that they had it in them to do so. He was quoted to have said:
“I am fine here. I will not go. I have no thoughts about leaving, even if in life you never know what might happen. The main strength of this team is the unity of the group. We are all very close. I promise the fans that we will fight to finish in the Champions
League places. We are equipped to do so, but there are a lot of teams [that can challenge for third]. We will do our best though.”
The Viola outfit are not as dependant on the Montenegrin as they once were, and have been winning matches in his absence as well.
