The former Villarreal striker mentioned that it was his dream to play for the Nerazzurri, but stated that he would not like to leave in the current circumstances.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058 Forlan arrived at Inter Milan following the departure of Samuel Eto’o to the newly-rich Russian outfit, Anzhi Makhachkala. He was seen as a straight replacement for
the Cameroonian following his impressive form in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 with Atletico Madrid.
Forlan generated a lot of interest from various clubs, and signed with the Beneamata in the summer of 2011. The Uruguayan has only scored twice in the Nerazzurri shirt and
has had 11 appearances in an injury-plagued season. The injury was the first major injury for the former Manchester United striker, and seemed to have lost the match sharpness when he returned from his injury.

Inter Milan have had a season to forget this term. They were contending for the top spots before February, but slumped to a run of form which led to a solitary victory in
their ten matches. Those were the last ten matches under Claudio Ranieri, who was shown the exit door after a disappointing loss against Juventus.

Besides their poor run of form, Forlan has been a major disappointment for the club, who had high aspirations from the striker. The forward realises that he has had a terrible
season so far, he went on to comment:
“I am very happy at Inter. It has been a difficult season due to the injury and the moment the team is going through.
In my career I have been through difficult moments before. Since I have been at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567, you have not seen the real
Forlan.”
There have been rumours of Forlan moving away from the San Siro this summer; however the striker stated that he would hate to part ways following such a terrible run of
form. He further mentioned:
“I would hate to leave Inter like this. I like the challenge, to play and do well. I always wanted to come to Inter and now I have that opportunity I don’t want to leave
when the team is not in good shape. I want to stay here and do well.”
Forlan would be hoping to find his scoring rhythm with only six games remaining in the league.
