  1. It wouldn't hurt to add a pint of dry gas to a tank of gas.

Helps keep moisture content low in the tank; moisture forms from condenstation inthe cold climate.

  2. If you live in a place where the weather is constantly changing and you tank gets water in it then dry gas would help it dry gases only purpose is to get rid of the water that got into the tank.  If its that cold their you might want to use some gas line antifreeze once in a while also to prevent your fuel line from freezing up which if it does it could get expensive.

  3. i would think so...regular gas has some h2o and e85 has more...but dont u mean ethanol not methanol...

  4. Unless you're concerned about water collecting in your fuel tank, which rarely happens anymore, drygas is a waste of money. If you have reason to believe you're going to have water issues, buy some drygas. If you get too much water in your tank, your alcohol/gasoline mixture will phase separate and your (m)ethanol concentration will drop, affecting octane rating and how clean your fuel burns. The separated water/alcohol will not likely freeze, but can gunk up your fuel filter pretty badly, which can strand you at an inopportune time.

Keeping your tank full is the best protection against water collecting in your tank and fuel line. With the vapor tight fuel caps out today, you rarely get much water vapor entering your tank. The dry winter air, combined with alcohol's ability to pick up some water, should be enough to avoid fuel line freeze.

  5. im not really sure what you are asking here, but to my knoledge you can only put up to 20% of methanol mixed with your petrol in a car, dont know if this helps you out?

  6. you can do this and it will not upset the car.

but the real trick is to keep it at 3/4 in the cold so you do not build condensation. then no need to spend the extra $$$$$$$$
