I have not watched baseball in a while?

Question

I have not watched for a while and I am from Chicago and I do not like the Cubs or the Sox cause they both suck together! So how are my Phillies doing?

Cubs are in first place in the NL Central, have the best record in the NL and for about half the year were the best record in the MLB.  The White Sox are also in first place in the AL Central.  The Phillies had the lead in the NL East for most of the year, but the Mets have been hot in the second half and after taking over first place for a little bit the Phils have just taken it back with a game lead on the Mets and 1.5 on the Marlins.  They traded for Joe Blanton from Oakland and while their offense is solid their pitching has been mediocre at best.

As Boston Believes has said already though,Philadelphia is no where near as strong as the Chicago teams.  They're also not as good as the Brewers and the Cardinals either.  Believe it or not the NL Central is the strongest NL division and probably the first or second best division in baseball (you can make a strong case the AL East is just as strong).

The Cubs and White Sox are some of the best teams in baseball this year. The Phillies are barely holding onto the NL East division lead, but are no where near as strong as the Chicago teams.

They ight bout 2 games out of the east and been major slumping in july, but expect a big down fall of the mets (like last year) and the phils well go all up hill in Aug., watch out the Phillies will make deep into the playoffs.

The Phillies are in the 1st place in the NL East, theyre doing pretty good. Chase Utley hit a homer the yesterday too.
