Karl Rove said this about governor Tim Kaine of Virginia when he was on Obama's short VP short list. He doesn't have enough experience & wasn't governor long enough & was a mayor of a small town, Richmond which happens to be the state capital & more people have heard of Richmond than the small town where Pallin is from. I just want to know why she is qualified but Kaine wasn't according to Rove?

  1. Oh and a short term senator is qualified to be President.

  2. Shouldn't you be e-mailing Rove and asking him ?

Just three months ago, joe Biden said obama was not qualified to be president.

Just two months ago, Hillary Clinton said Obama was not qualified to be president.

But we all know, Palin has more elected political experience than Obama does.

And far more elected executive experience.

Since Obama has none at all !!!!!!!!!!

  3. all I can say is: Go Obama

  4. That's Karl Rove's opinion -- but Karl Rove's opinion is not the only thing that matters here.

    .

  5. McCain is simply pandering to the Hillary democrats.  The intelligent ones will not be duped.

  6. It's a double standard.  That's what Republican's do.  Its only okay if it pertains to them.

  7. jmaximus - he could have picked a more experience women.

  8. Bunky-

here is the main difference.  its not a double standard, or a "Republican trick" as other posters have told you.  the problem with Kain was that he lacked experience, like Obama.  Obama needed someone on his ticket WITH political experience, hence Joe Biden.  Biden isn't the s**y pick, or the fun pick, but he brings experience to Obama's ticket.

McCain didn't need that.  HE has the experience.  he could afford to bring in a neophyte...someone new to the game who would inject some life into the party.  Obama needed the experience, which made Kain a bad pick, McCain did not need it, which makes Palin a fine choice.

McCain is in a no-win situation from the media.  He brings in Palin, and its "Experience" and "Pandering" insults.  he brings in a stodgy old guy and its "Same old Republican ticket- 2 old white guys".  so he took the risk and made the bold, and correct pick.

  9. How is Obama so qualified. This race isn't about weather your qualified it's only about your gender and race.

  10. Well I know that I'm not Karl Rove and McCain is not Karl Rove. In fact I know a lot of people who are not Karl Rove.  Why do you even know what Karl Rove has said? Why are you paying attention to him?  I'm typically a Republican supporter and I don't know what he has or hasn't said, because I don't listen to him.  I don't base my thoughts and reasoning around what Karl Rove says.

  11. She has more Executive chops than Obama.
