I have noticed that my hair is falling out. What is causing this and how can I stop it?

Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems.Perming, straightening, hair dyeing and bleaching ,hot combing, using heated rollers and hot wax inevitably damage the hair.Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp.   2. My hair fell out because my thyroid was out of wack. After treatment hair grew back.  There are many reasons for hair loss, depends on a lot of variables like what area is your hair loss occuring, how much fall out are you experiencing, etc.  You did not give much info did you?

  3. Many things could cause hair loss, such as major surgery or after an illness, hormonal problems, following pregnancy/birth, some certain medicines, or infections.

    Depending on your type of hair loss, treatments are available. You should really see your doctor to find out the cause and how to prevent it, because I can't be sure of anything over the Internet.

  4. I had this problem a while back.

    What I did was change my shampoo/conditioner every 3 months. (If you don't do this your hair will get used to the product and it will no longer work)

    I used voluminous shampoo/conditioner. But you could use whichever one you'd like.

    Since my hair gets oily if I don't wash it, I washed it everyday.

    My hair was very long, so I cut it. That right there solved most of it.

    Make sure you brush through your hair in the shower with a comb. After that, don't mess with it. If it's wet, and you brush it some hair will be left on the brush.

    This worked for me.

    pull you hair

    tie your hair up when its wet

    iron or use heat on your hair

    dye your hair a lot

    keep your hair dry as in dry dry

    those are some things that cause hair to fall....you should use a moisturizing conditioner and a not-so-strong shampoo,and eat a lot of protein that will help and don't dye your hair a lot, don't heat up your hair like everyday, don't pull your hair(obviously)

  7. Well...for one unless someone on here

    is a psychic, no ones going to know for sure...

    so if it's serious, i'd still recommend a

    doctors visit...

    BUT-one of the main reasons for hair loss

    is severe stress, or anxiety

    also if hair is extremely damaged, it tends

    to start falling out also. (like heat, or chemical

    damage)...
