Question:

I have ocd and intrusive thoughts that i might kill myself will I or is it just unrealistic?

  1. I suffer from major depression syndrome and like any disease (diabetes, lupus, etc.) you must educate yourself about your disease and take medication to control the symptoms of your disease.  

    The intrusive thoughts you are having need medical attention.  Please see your doctor as soon as possible and describe your "symptoms."  

    Medications have come a long way to help combat all types of depression whether you are diagnosed with bi-polar, manic depression, etc.  Please see your doctor.


  2. hi. i'm the someone who have the same problem like you.

    Don't think that you're the only one who think ocd and intrusive

    thoughts.everybody has little problem in their mind

    but they don't say anying about that.they just pretend they're okay.

    and i have suffered like you, so i had a hard time to overcome.

    i feel like i'm crazy.... so i couldn't focus on my life, studying

    but i conclude it's just a mental problem everybody gets. your brain

    is ok, that  means you're ok.

    oh, i'll say just one more thinng about the brain.

    you need to control your brain. i read about the book how to use

    perfect brain,.just think postively! it's not easy but why everyone think

    oocd and intrusive thoughts because brain accpet all kinds of

    things, and don't know how to deal with. so in your mind, come out

    a lot of negative thoughts endlessly , you think as a miserable fate.

    accpet good things. think positive! do you know what is the difference

    beteween the good person and bad person? how you accpet the

    good information and good thought!

    also you should not forget that you're not alone!

  4. That sounds exactly like me. OCD and thoughts of suicide. If your thoughts are anything like mine, they are just based on curiosity. I ignore them. I never considered them to be an actual possibility, just based on curiosity and random images. It's part of the disorder. Personally, I find the intrusive sexual thoughts MUCH more annoying and disturbing.
