Those coins have no significant value other than what it says its worth, $1. Coins that are significant are quarters and dimes made before 1965. Before that year, coins were made of silver, so they are worth more than its said value. For silver dollars, any coins made before 1935 were made of silver.

If they are like the 1776-1976 dollar they are Ike dollars. Unless the coins are in top mint state grade they are only worth a dollar. In coin collecting 1976 is not old. It will be sometime before they are worth much, I would hold onto them and wait and see.
