  1. The safest way is to scan them in.

I've scanned mine in, some go back to 1910  and used Paintshop Pro to restore them.  Fixed the creased corners and enhanced the fading on the electronic copy of the photo and then saved them to DVD.

  2. personally i would upload them to my computer... kinda restore them in photoshop and just make a cd where i could go print them out at any photo place...

but there can be easier ways???

  3. Scan them

  4. If u can afford it have them made on dvd that would be the simplest way to have all the old memories and u can share the pics with the other family memebers,,,

  5. Take them to a reliable photo shop in your area for restoration or copying or scan them onto your pc and then have prints made.

  6. Its hard to replace those if they get damaged.  My advice is for you to take them to a camera/photo shop like Wolf Camera and they can do the work for you, they also do photo restoration for you or make the copies colored and black and white.

    Good luck!

  7. Scanning it would be the easiest.  This would also allow you to digital enhance the photgraph if you have the software to do it.
