  1. Tupperware is PLASTIC, you can't put plastic on the stove it will melt.

    You may have something else.

  2. It sounds like the classic Corningware pattern. You can put it in your microwave, from freezer to oven...but you CANNOT cook directly on the stove top.

  3. If it is in fact Tupperware, no you can't use it on the stove top.  Tupperware did have a line you could use in the oven, but never a line for the stove top (except their current line of cookware but it's silver).  I agree with the other responders in that it does sound like CorningWare, but I do know for a fact that CorningWare made "skillets" and so some of their products can be used on the stove top, but only at a reasonable heat (medium or lower).  Does it have a handle like a skillet would?  If it is CorningWare and does have a handle, it was likely made to go on the stove and CorningWare is oven safe to 500 degrees (I'm almost certain) so the stove top would be fine even for the stuff that doesn't have the skillet handle, but again, use medium or lower heat.

  4. I'm guessing you mean Corningware, use it to bake with only. Tupperware is plastic don't, very dangerous!

  5. Do not use corningware on top of the stove either.
