I have one test whens the earliest i could take it?

i'm really anxious and i want to take NOW, but i know that would be stupid because i only have one and i don't have extra money right now to waste my money and buy another one. It has to be correct to because i don't want to cause a big fuss over nothing or have it come out negative and than i don't get proper medical attention.

If you only have one test then you should definitely wait until after you've missed your period. Actually you should wait maybe 5-7 days after you've missed... that way you're more likely to get accurate results. I know it's hard to do but you don't want to waste your money. Until then take care of yourself as if you are pregnant.

the test will tell you when the soonest you can test is (it varies from test to test) but the results will be best if you wait til after your period is due... even a test that can detect 5 days before a missed period will have better accuracy if you wait... if you read all the info that came with the test it will tell you this

But wait 5 days before a missed period as they say...Even though everyone is different. I came on my period the first 2 months...So just wait as long as you can.

well I just took a test at 9 or 10 dpo and it was negative, but i still strongly believe that I am pregnant. I am going to try and wait until the day AFTER i expect my period... its so freggin hard to wait :(

I know first hand the strong desire to test early, but if you only have the one test  and you want an accurate result you should wait at least until the day after your period should come.

The earliest you can take it is five days before your missed period

You can take it as early as 5 days before you period is supposed to come...BUT I would recommend that you wait until AT LEAST the day your period is supposed to come. I have been in your shoes (I am still in your shoes) and I know how hard it is to wait. But if you have 1 and you can't get another, you really should wait. I don't even know how many hundreds of dollars I have spent on pregnancy tests because I just couldn't wait any longer. I still can't wait but I am trying to get better at it. I hope everything works out for you!
