I have only been working in retail for about 9 months (toys r us) now i am trying to apply to walmart but?

they asked me how long have i been working in retail and the only choices they give me are

no experience

1 year

between 1 and three years

3 and 5 years

5 or more years.

if i put 1 year, i'd be lieing and if i put no experience, i'd be lieing. help.

i'm applying online btw.

Round up and put one year, they are asking for an estimate online, then if they call for an interview just tell them when they ask you how long you have worked there just tell them your nine months.  It is not a big deal

1 year and if they call you back for an interview let them know on site that you have had only 9 months and that was the closest option they had for you online.

They are looking for a ball park figure so the answer is

1 year and if there is any questions about it you can explain it

to your supervisor.

What they want to know is if you have experience enough for you to do your job

Go ahead and put the one year and when you get the interview just tell them that way they know your being honest. But I don't think it will matter that much.
