I have opened a dmat acount in reliance.Is it necessary that the online broker should also be from same compan

Or is it our wish?We can have an online broker of any other company?what is the procedure to have an online broker?please explain.

  1. it is not necessary however its better as there will be smooth sailing. For procedure call reliance money.


  2. Its not compulsory to have online broker from the same company.But it would be better to do so coz it will have easy trading format.You ill find easy transfers and  if its from other source it would take a time of day or two which is not possible if u have broker from the same company.

    If you dont have what would be the best part is you will be getting calls from both the side i.e., from reliance and other souce which you are prefering.Calls in the sense you will be getting alerts which will help you in tracking the stocks and make profits.

By having a Demat account and Online broker seperately, it would not be possible for the Sell transactions to take place smoothly, as sell transactions require delivery of shares and it remains in Demat account, for every sail transaction u will have to issue a Delivery instruction to your demat custodian to transfer the shares with broking house pool account. Time is the main factor in it.

    So, it is advised to use same broker for demat and trading.
