Can the outlook administrator access and read my emails, is there a way to over ride the administrator and gain access so she can't do this.

Can she see my screen or what websites I have been to, if so how can I block this?

If she is seeing my screen, what software could she be using, and is there a way to find out if it's on my PC.

I am not doing anything wrong, we all feel that she is violating her privileges my being too noisy.

We are a small network on Server 2003, with Microsoft 2007.

  1. Really, There is no need for the administrator to access your computer to see your email or your surfing habits. Usually for archiving purposes all emails are kept on the server and saved for the required amount of time. In exchange  and other mail programs there is a function where the admin can get a copy of every mail that is sent to that domain.

For the websites, she would just look at your browsing history on the domain controller or on the firewall. To bypass this you could use a proxy server.

  2. They cant read your mail unless they know the password for your mail account

  3. Basically, if you have a central email server, then yes, your emails are not private.  But I couldn't really tell you if she is watching your other activity.  She can't do it through Outlook, but there are many other ways to see what is going on.  There really isn't much you can do to prevent it.  If you block her, she will know that you have blocked her.  Also, if you don't know how she is watching, then there is not much you can do.

  4. yes if you have an exchange server, it's easy to read other people email if you have priviledges, if you have personal stuff and your worried about this try to use a webmail type such as hotmail
