  1. maybe you need to get extra arch support in your shoes (either get new shoes or insoles)

  2. Check your shoes and feet, if you have high arches and not enough support or too much support and low arches or flat feet these will cause those problems.

High arches = Neutral or Stability shoes

Low/no arches = Stability or Motion Control shoes

Take this test to see which shoes you need:

  3. I have this  problem too. I have to get new shoes often

I guess they just they dont make shoes that well.I buy a good grade middle of the road shoe about every 4-6 months and have all but eliminated the problem. Try new shoes.

  4. There are arch supports you can get at the store.  Go to a drugstore and look by the Dr. Schols foot section.  You may have to cut them down slightly to fit into your shoes.

Sometimes people with high arches get this pain as well.

If the arch supports help, you may want to upgrade by getting a pair with a foot doctor making them for you (if you have high arches).  Hope that helps.
